Why Choose Soprano Titanium?

Virtually painless
SHRTM is the only clinically proven method of laser hair removal that is virtually painless. The unique heating and energy delivery method effectively damages the hair follicle and prevents re-growth, while preventing injury to the surrounding tissue.

Proven safety record
SHRTM has been proven in multiple clinical studies as the safest method of laser hair removal for all skin types, including dark skin, where melanin is exponentially more sensitive to the heat used in laser treatment. Hair follicles are damaged not by a single pulse of high energy, but by repetitive short energy pulses. These pulses minimise the risk of burning to the skin, as it is the heat build-up which raises the temperature of the dermis to the level needed for preventing hair growth.

Tanned skin
SHRTM affects the melanin of the skin using a unique method, allowing the procedure to be performed at any time of the year as well as on tanned skin. Furthermore, sun exposure is less traumatic to the skin following SHR treatment.

Full coverage rate
During SHRTM treatment, energy is applied over a large grid- not just the region of the hair follicle. This technique collectively heats up and damages the hair follicles within the grid, ensuring full coverage and dramatically improved treatment results.

All skin types
Rather than exposing the hair follicle to a single high energy pulse which can cause trauma to skin with a high melanin count, SHRTM gradually heats the skin until the required heat energy is delivered to the hair follicle. This makes SHRTM the safest laser hair removal option, and perfect for dark skinned clients.

Facial tip
The unique facial tip allows treatment of hard to reach areas, including the ears, nostrils and glabella.

Benefits and Results of Laser Hair Removal:

A full course of treatments should result in a permanent reduction of hair growth; however this is dependent upon individual skin tone and hair. Most clients can expect to see a 60-90% reduction in hair growth. An annual top up session is recommended for maintenance. Please speak to our team of highly trained staff for further information.

After Laser Treatments:

FAQs

How many treatments will I need?

Laser hair removal will only treat hair in the anagen phase of growth, roughly 10-15% of the hair in any particular area will be at this phase at any time. Each treatment, 4-8 weeks apart will treat different hairs at this stage of their life cycle so you should see a roughly 10-15% reduction in hair per treatment. Most people will go for 6 to 8 treatments per area, possibly more for more resistant areas such as the face or intimate area.

Should I shave before treatment?
It is necessary to shave all areas that are to be treated to ensure the session is safe and effective. The optimal time to shave is around 8 hours before your appointment time. This allows your skin time to calm down and any redness to fade while still leaving a smooth surface for the laser to treat.
If hair has not been shaved, the laser will mainly attack hair outside the skin. This will not be comfortable and could present an increased risk of side effects. This will also result in the treatment being ineffective or less effective.
